Doha Port will inaugurate its new Grand Terminal\u00a0 in 2022. It can welcome up to 12,000 passengers per day, with dual terminals serving two berths.<\/p>\n
Covering more than 24,000 square metres, the terminal offers passengers the same level of service and facilities as\u00a0Hamad International Airport, including seamless immigration and customs, foreign exchange services, taxi and bus stands, a Duty-Free shop, a caf\u00e9, specially-designed waiting areas for cruise passengers and staff, along with other tourist information services.<\/p>\n
The terminal will uniquely serve as home to the region\u2019s largest aquarium within the new City Gallery, which will be open to the general public, offering an attractive year-round activity for the local community. It will also host open-air events on the 2nd floor, with a large terrace stretching across the two terminals.<\/p>\n
Collaborative efforts by Qatar Tourism and local authorities, including Immigration, Customs and Mwani Qatar, have made the disembarkation process quick and hassle-free for passengers arriving at Doha Port, enabling them to start enjoying the destination\u2019s tourism offerings without wasting any time.<\/p>\n
Qatar\u00a0has also partnered with MSC Cruises to charter two of its ships during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022\u2122, providing fans with all necessary accommodation arrangements.<\/p>\n
Doha Port welcomes leading international cruise lines, such as MSC Cruises, Costa Cruises, TUI Mein Schiff, Emerald, Silversea and more during the cruise season, which runs from November to April every year.<\/p>\n

A traditional Qatari welcome expects cruise passengers upon arrival. Then, passengers can explore the country via the various tours on offer.
